Sabina Hill

Designer Sabina Hill, in collaboration with First Nations artists, creates original custom furniture and art which merges the rich mythology of the Northwest Coast with a contemporary design aesthetic. Her works, handcrafted from local and imported solid  woods that are combined with precision cut metal and glass, are authenticated limited edition and commission pieces of museum quality that evoke the natural beauty of the northwest coast.

The New Spirit Collection, launched in 2007, introduced bold saturated colours, rich high gloss finishes and exotic woods. Previously, her Formlines Collection of both limited and open edition pieces was introduced in 2004, and featured Douglas fir and alder, woods native to British Columbia; select pieces from this first collection are available.

Original native motifs are designed by First Nations artist's Andy Everson (Comox-Kwakwaka'wakw) and Steve Smith (Kwakwaka'wakw).
